Course Summary
Course Aims
Developing further on the student’s previous training experience and using advanced first aid techniques over extended and prolonged durations
- To assess, monitor and record the casualties’ vital signs in complex emergency situations and react accordingly to changes in them
- To perform all necessary movements and procedures to stabilise and promote recovery of the casualty
- To monitor and react to the physiological wellbeing of the casualty, bystanders, and other team members.
- To anticipate, monitor and react to the both the environmental conditions and to changes in them that effect both the casualty and other team members
- To safely take charge at the scene of an incident, to direct the work of other first aiders and to communicate effect with both them and the rescue services, whilst constantly reassessing all the above.
Booking Refund Policy
General Provisions: Our aim is to ensure the satisfaction of all our customers. If for any reason you are unable to participate in the booked activity, please review our refund policy.
Cancellation by the Customer: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. The cancellation will only be effective from the day we receive written confirmation from you. Refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the booked activity date: Full refund minus the administration fee charge by the booking website and Stripe.
Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the booked activity date: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 15 days before the booked activity date: No refund.
No-shows: Customers who fail to show up for their course will not be eligible for a refund.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late and miss part or all of your booked activity, no refund will be provided, certification cannot be provided if part of the course is missed
Cancellation by Us: In the rare event that we have to cancel the booked activity due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you the choice of booking an alternative date or activity or receiving a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking.
Changes to the Activity: If there is a significant change to the activity after your booking has been confirmed, we will inform you as soon as possible. You will have the choice to accept the change, book an alternative activity, or receive a full refund.
Refund Processing: Refunds are generally processed within 7-14 business days and will be credited back to the original payment method. In some cases, depending on your bank, it may take an additional time before the refund is reflected in your account.
